This is an Education Class outside so dress accordingly!
I am not a professional photographer but I do ok. If you want me to share some information on
Rule of 3rd’s : The rule of thirds is applied by aligning a subject with the guide lines and their intersection points, placing the horizon on the top or bottom line, or allowing linear features in the image to flow from section to section.
F-stop : In optics, the f-number (sometimes called focal ratio, f-ratio, f-stop, or relative aperture) of an optical system is the ratio of the lens's focal length to the diameter of the entrance pupil. It is a dimensionless number that is a quantitative measure of lens speed, and an important concept in photography.
Film Speed or ISO: Film speed is the measure of a photographic film's sensitivity to light, determined by sensitometry and measured on various numerical scales, the most recent being the ISO system. A closely related ISO system is used to measure the sensitivity of digital imaging systems.
Then come to this event and learn. This will be one of many educational events in Alaska hosted by me and helped from others and educated people to use those nice cameras that we pay so much money for.
