Spotted: Correze: Cache Owners keep Groundspeak alive. Without caches there is no game.
Everything Seattle does is aimed at attracting & satisfying finders.
All COs get is grief from Rules, Guidelines then made into Rules by bolshy Reviewers & then public typing on cache logs from Reviewers (who have never seen the cache nor know anything about it).
This CO has had enough.
This series (created especially for children & newbies) was time consuming.
Not because of the caches.
Because of the kind of finders it attracted.
Every cache was different.
Nothing boring.
Above average caches in above average places.
I trust a Community Manager will read this & get a grip.
The way COs are treated MUST change.
Or the game will, as it mostly is & was, remain 35mm film cans at foot of tree.
Is that really what Groundspeak wants COs to create?
COs deserve positive support.
Algorythm notifications to Reviewers should be sent by email/message direct to CO - simply saying "please have a look at this one, the logs seem to suggest something's wrong there".
Most COs will of course already be aware.
A load of threatening drivel filling a cache log is of no use to anyone.
Gets Reviewers a bad name too.
