According to the Farmer's Almanac, January's moon was referred to as the Wolf Moon because amid the cold and deep snows of midwinter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. Hopefully, there will be no hungry wolf packs loitering outside Firehouse Subs on the second Monday evening of January.
