De letterbox op het Sciencepark is terug. In een nieuw jasje, en met een nieuwe opdracht.

Welkom op het Science Park.

Het Science Park van Amsterdam ligt in de wijk Watergraafsmeer. Het park is 70 hectare groot, en heeft als belangrijkste functie het huisvesten van voorzieningen voor Natuurwetenschappelijk onderzoek, exacte wetenschap, ICT en Biologie. Op Amsterdam Science Park bevinden zich woningen, ruim 90 bedrijven gespecialiseerd in ICT en biologie, de bètafaculteit van de Universiteit van Amsterdam en wetenschappelijke instituten. Ook zijn er horicagelegenheden en een sportcentrum. 

Dit is de tweede Letterbox Hybride die hier geplaatst wordt, nadat de vorige helaas was geript. Net als zijn voorganger biedt de cache ruimte aan travelbugs en –coins. 

Bij het logboek zit een stempel. Deze moet in de cache blijven!

Door de nieuwe behuizing passen niet alle ansichtkaarten meer even goed in de cache, maar ik heb een setje geschikte kaarten erin achtergelaten. Ongefrankeerd en onbeschreven. Neem een eigen postzegel mee, adresseer en frankeer een van de lege kaarten, en wie weet krijg je hem ooit thuisgestuurd met een boodschap van de vinder erop. Vind je een ansichtkaart met adres en postzegel in de cache, neem die dan mee en stuur hem op naar zijn eigenaar.

De cache ligt niet op bovenstaande coördinaten. Om hem te vinden, en te openen, zul je een paar opdrachten uit moeten voeren:

Welcome to the Science Park

The Amsterdam Science Park is located in the eastern part of Amsterdam, in the area Watergraafsmeer. The park comprises 70 hectares (175 acres) and provides accommodations for science, business, and housing. Amsterdam Science Park focusses on Physics, Information technology, and life sciences. The natural science faculties of the University of Amsterdam are located here. There are also several restaurants and a sports complex.

This is the second Letterbox to be hidden on the Science Park, after the previous one was unfortunately muggled. Like it's predecessor, the cache offers room for travel bugs and - coins. 

With the log you also find a stamp. This stamp is supposed to stay in the cache!

You are also free to bring your own stamp to adress one of the blanc post cards inside to cache to yourself. Maybe one day it will be send back to you. If you find a post card with the address already on it in the cache, please take it with you and send it back to the owner.

The coordinates on top of this page are fictional. You will not find the cache there. To find and open the cache, you have to do two things:

The cache is protected with a lock. To find the code for the lock, you have to perform a small scavenger hunt. Translate the following assignments and carry out the tasks given.
