Geocache Description:

In celebration of 50 years of Stark Parks, ten FeLeap’s Favorites have been hidden in park locations. Expect more challenging hides and venture a little deeper into the park or trail. Find all of them and receive a 50th Anniversary token. .... and find out who FeLeap is! For more information on the trail visit StarkParks.com.

This trail transitions from urban to rural landscapes featuring a thriving wetland with boneset, joe-pye weed, and skunk cabbage as well as apple, hickory, maple, sassafras, and swamp white oak trees. The crushed limestone Nickel Plate Trail connects with the paved asphalt trail that begins at Metzger Park and at Rt. 44 in Louisville. The Nickel Plate Trail has been adopted by the Rotary Club of Louisville, the club sponsors cleanup projects along the trail throughout the year.
