O Pico do Cambirela é o ponto culminante do município e da região, destacando-se pelo fato de elevar-se praticamente a partir do nível do mar acima de 900m. Está situado no Parque Estadual da Serra do Tabuleiro e domina toda a Baía Sul. As formações rochosas encontradas no Cambirela são de granito e basalto. A vegetação nativa é um remanescente da Mata Atlântica até certa altitude (cerca de 800 m), após o que se encontram gramíneas. Especula-se que, devido ao fato de haver água termal na região em que se situa a montanha, o Cambirela possa ser o cume mais alto de um vulcão extinto.
Existem trilhas que levam ao topo, ao longo das quais se encontram alguns cursos de água cristalina. Estas trilhas são muito utilizadas por turistas aficionados das caminhadas ecológicas. Mas não só por eles, o Pé-grande também se aproveita destas trilhas para circular livremente pela montanha, e há evidência disso nas marcas deixadas por eles em várias pedras da trilha, fique atento durante todo o caminho, para ver as marcas e quem sabe vê-lo correndo no meio da mata. Em um destes locais onde o Pé-grande deixou sua marca foi escondido o cache.

Está é uma trilha para aventureiros experientes e não é recomendado a ida sozinho. Um guia para grupos menos experientes também resolve a questão. Trilha de 2.600m do ponto de estacionamento e 3.000m até o cume da montanha.
Luvas, repelente, protetor solar e roupas adequadas são recomendações. Dias nublados não lhe darão a bela vista do litoral. Dias chuvosos não são recomendados para esta aventura.
Como o cache está no meio do caminho para o cume, você pode ir até o cume e achar o cache GC65D3K, pois esta trilha também chega lá.

Cambirela’s Peak is the culminating point of the municipality and the region, being distinguished by the fact that it rises practically from the level of the sea above 900m. It is located in Serra do Tabuleiro State Park and dominates the entire South Bay. The rock formations found in Cambirela are granite and basalt. The native vegetation is a remnant of the Atlantic Forest up to a certain altitude (about 800 m), after which grasses are found. It is speculated that, because there is thermal water in the region where the mountain is located, Cambirela may be the highest peak of an extinct volcano.
There are trails that lead to the top, along which are some courses of crystal clear water. These trails are used by locals tourits and trekking lovers. But not only for them, the Sasquatch also takes advantage of these trails to move freely around the mountain, and there is evidence of that in the marks left by him (or her) in several stones of the trail, stay tuned all the way, to see the marks and, who knows, to see him running in the middle of the woods. In one of these places where Bigfoot left his mark was hidden the cache.
WARNINGS:
This is a trail for experienced adventurers and is not recommended to go alone. A guide for less experienced groups also addresses the issue. 2.600m trail from the parking spot and 3.000m to the highest point of the mountain.
Gloves, repellent, sunscreen and appropriate clothing are recommendations. Cloudy days will not give you the beautiful view of the coast. Rainy days are not recommended for this adventure.
As the cache is halfway to the summit, you can go up to the summit and find the GC65D3K cache, as this trail also gets there.
