Well, I thought Sterling needed more caches so I placed 5 new ones. All 5 are within walking distance, well if you don't mind walking. I've walked the route a number of times and it's about an hour and a half round trip, but of course you can drive to all 5. There's plenty of parking at all 5. 2 of them are puzzle caches.
I was out walking one hot summer day and checked my phone to see if there was a shorter way home. My phone showed me this path which served as a nice shortcut as it turned what would have been a 4+ hour walk into about a 3 and a quarter hour walk. This path leads to or away from the W&OD Trail. You can get to it from either the W&OD Trail or by parking along S Dickenson/Silverleaf. The path is on S Dickenson near where Silverleaf Dr turns into S Dickenson Ave at Silverleaf Ct. The path begins by where there's some electrical/power boxes. The path continues in between 2 fences.
