Geocache Description:

The Nile River

Probably a great subject for an earthcache too but for now, just a mystery cache.

This CO having been involved in contracts for his work in most countries along the Nile river felt it necessary to place a cache here.  If one reads books from authors such as Wilbur Smith and realise the mystique associated with it, all the secrets it holds and all the wonderful history it has seen, I found it fitting to also make this a mystery cache.  Not too difficult, but a mystery nonetheless.

The Nile (Arabic: النيل‎‎, Eg. en-Nīl, Std. an-Nīl; Coptic: ⲫⲓⲁⲣⲱ, P(h)iaro; Ancient EgyptianḤ'pī and Iteru; Biblical Hebrew: היאור, Ha-Ye'or) is a major north-flowing river in northeastern Africa, generally regarded as the longest river in the world but in 2007 this title was given to the Amazon river. It is 6,853 km (4,258 miles) long. The Nile is an "international" river as its water resources are shared by eleven countries, namely, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo-Kinshasa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea, South Sudan, Sudan and Egypt. In particular, the Nile is the primary water source of Egypt and Sudan.  (Ref: Wikipedia)

The puzzle:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.  You can either solve the following puzzle to work them out or you can drive around Cairo looking for the spot in the spoiler photo.

It is located at: AN9SW92GW

The purpose of the spoiler is so that you do not need to scratch around too much and be too obvious.  It is hidden at chest height (I am 6'2") and easy to retrieve without making it too obvious.  Please be very aware of muggles and traffic!  You will need to park some distance and walk here, so this is not a simple park and grab.

Have fun, and spend some time admiring the mighty Nile river!

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
