Le jardin d'Eguilles, de Max SAUZE, plasticien près d’Aix-en-Provence, est une création poétique qui s’inscrit dans son œuvre artistique composée de sculptures, “Livres fermés” ® , créations design, luminaires, meubles, bijoux, “objets dérivés”, avec pour matériaux de prédilection livres, papier, métal, fil de fer, escargots, cailloux...
Le Jardin d’Éguilles a reçu le label “Jardin remarquable” du Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication et accueille des visiteurs tout au long de l’année sur Rendez-vous.
Après avoir exposé dans de nombreux pays (Allemagne, Hollande, Suède, Italie, ex Haute Volta, Suisse, Portugal...) et partout en France (Paris - Palais de la Découverte, Grand Palais, Musée des Arts déco, Artjonction Nice, Lyon, Rodez, Toulouse...), Max Sauze est également reconnu en Provence où il est régulièrement exposé (Musée Edgar Mélik de Cabriès, Parc Jourdan, Cité du Livre, Atelier Cézanne d’Aix-en-Provence...).
Parmi ses oeuvres célèbres pour ceux qui les connaissent : la Télérision (un monde loufoque et étrange à découvrir !), L'Homme qui marche qui lit (une oeuvre qui mériterait bien une série geocaching à elle toute seule ...).
