Ce petit coin de verdure qui relie l'église à la crois Saint-Ladre est en fait l'ancienne route qui menait au village de Theillay pendant tout l'Ancien Régime.
L'actuelle route de Theillay est véritablement utilisée à partir de la fin du XIXe/ du début du XXe avec la construction de la gare. La voie de chemin de fer du B.A qui traverse ce chemin est une des dernières voies métriques de France.

During the French Old Regime, the path connecting the church to the Cross of Saint Ladre think was actually the old road leading to the town of Theillay.
The current road Theillay is actually used from the late nineteenth / early twentieth with the construction of the train station of the B.A line. The rail road crossing this path is one of the last métric tract in France.
