Pardon my french!. For those whose do not know french, Nettoyer means "To Clean", and I am hosting a Cache In Trash Out (CITO) event at Frenchy's Field Park. Yeah, what a clever name huh?
In collaboration with Santa Fe Parks and Rec, we will be picking up trash and doing general park cleaning chores between 3pm and 5pm. SF Parks will be providing trash bags, gloves, even rakes and will haul off the trash we collect. We just need to provide the "muscles". Frenchy's Field is a wonderful family friendly park that has playgrounds, a nice running and bike path and several picnic areas. I will be claiming one of these picnic areas to host a pot-luck BBQ after the CITO, approximately 5-6:30pm. Please join me in helping keep our parks clean and beautiful and stay for some geocaching camaraderie. As an added bonus, by attending this CITO you will earn an Earthday 2017 Souvenir! The Details
WHEN: April 29th 3-5pm (or 6:30pm if you stay for the pot-luck)
WHERE: Frenchy's Field
WHAT TO BRING: Sun protection (hat, lotion etc..) and a good attitude.
BBQ/Potluck Details
The BBQ/Potluck will start at ~5:30 pm at one of the picnic tables ( hopefully I will have coords as well). I will bring hot-dogs and accouterments. If you're planning on staying for the food, please post what you will be bringing in your Will Attend log.
