Praça Elizabeth Maria Malburg
Esta praça fica no terreno atrás da "igrejinha" como é conhecida a Igreja da Imaculada Conceição, que foi a primeira igreja matriz da cidade.
A Igreja Matriz do Santíssimo Sacramento (tem um cache lá), foi construída pois a igrejinha não conseguia acolher todos os paroquianos, levando a frase:
“É uma bela cidade, bem traçada. Igreja modesta: os nossos padres projetam edificar uma nova” - ser dita por Leão Dehon, religioso francês fundador da congregação dos padres do Sagrado Coração de Jesus, de passagem pela região em 1906.
Um detalhes interessante sobre a praça, é que foi construída sobre o primeiro cemitério da cidade, então, tome cuidados com as pedras que você deslocar.
Sobre Elizabeth Maria Malburg, pouco consegui encontrar, apenas que a família dela é uma das tradicionais da cidade e que ela também cede seu nome a uma escola. Nascida em Itajaí em 14 de outubro de 1876, vindo a falecer em 07 de outubro de 1966.

Elizabeth Maria Malburg Square
This square is on the ground behind the "little church" as it is called the Church of the Immaculate Conception, which was the first parish church of the city.
