Sua nascente localiza-se no bairro Cachoeira e sua foz é junto ao rio Iguaçu no Boqueirão
No local do cache é um dos trechos que não foram canalizados, aqui vemos o resultado da ocupação desordenada das cidades
Afluentes da Bacia do Belém: Rio Ivo (se visualiza à direita do local do cache), Rio Juvevê, , Rio Água Verde, Rio Guaíra e Rio Pinheirinho
The Belém river have their 21 km within our municipality is considered the most native rivers and is also the most polluted river of our capital.
