Geocache Description:

A little jolly in an underground stream. Pencil. rubber and sharpener are not swaps.

A screwcap box, ok for small swaps.

Don't put on your wellingtons. I did and they filled with water, old trainers or beach shoes are needed.

A really good cache was archived and after 3 and a half years only I had done it.

The cache was this one.

So reusing the same hiding hole but now no puzzle or completing other caches to get this, just a traditional. Will need gardening gloves and kneepads. ok don't have to but I did. A headband torch and spare hand held, take 2 so a back up.

Do not go if raining or will rain. I guess the drains at road edge go into this, so the last thing you want to be in is rising water. Safety first. Just a stream been put underground when houses went up I guess, flowing so cleanish. Just you will get wet as a fair few inches of water, that changes depending on rain fall in last week I would think.

Get to by parking on road and go up pathway by houses at front of the trees, where the stream pipe is, can get the car not 40 seconds from it. I went head first but on the way back came out feet first by turning round at stand up point not 9m from the end. Is a bit deep and hands first on way out, no chance.

Old tracksuit bottoms, a long sleeve top as need to be covered, back will rub along the top. Me 5 foot 8 and 10.5 stone. Much bigger and will be hard. On elbows and knees shuffling along, is tight but doable!.

Cache is at manhole cover coordinents suggest. Was temped to do one more pipe section but it was not enough room. In places it get builders sharp sand, ballast on the floor so taking away inches you need. Cache hidden at 3rd upright where you can stand. Might not be a lot more than 65m looking at map on right of this listing, but feels like a mile!

Even where you have to go has ballast (correct word, not sure) and sand in there, from the new development on main road by secondary school, who knows. some places tighter than others. Over 6 foot I would say not for you, or get really low so you are getting more wet than I did, my torso was try but not much else.

First one of a mini series is this, Will need a floatation device, or maybe not as it seems to be now by people!.

My easier other tunnel based cache (no floatation  device needed) is this.

Not quite as hard but 3 foot head height so a lot of bending.
