LE TROT
Discipline Attelé est une forme de courses de chevaux dans lequel les chevaux course à une allure spécifique (un trot ou le rythme). Ils tirent généralement un chariot à deux roues.

Sur les plages de la Manche, il est pas rare de voir des chevaux ‘trotteurs’ exercés. Le jockey se trouve directement derrière le cheval sur une seule personne panier.

Le Trotteur Français est une race de cheval de Normandie, France, développée au 19ème siècle de chevaux normands avec l'ajout de certains pur-sang anglais et sang ‘Norfolk Trotter’. Le Norfolk Trotter est un cheval de race éteinte une fois originaire d'East Anglia et le Norfolk, en Angleterre. Il a été dit être ‘une grande taille cheval au trot harnais originaires et autour de Norfolk’.
