La Tonnara (on the rocks)
The isles of La Tonnara form an archipel in the bay of Stagnolu (La baie de Stagnolu). They are rocky and deserted. They are part of the natture reserve of "Des Bouches de Bonifacio" and are classified as areas of ecological importance (Zones naturelles d'intérêt écologique, faunistique et floristique.)
La Tonnara beach is a beautiful beach in the bay of Stagnolu where it is nice snorkeling. Not far from the beach is an island full of bones (!). It lokes like the local seaugulls and other birds eat their prey here. This island is prohibited for dogs. Not that a dog could come to the island easily ....
The cache
The cache is located at the island next to "bone island". You can reach it from the beach or from "bone island". The island is really rock and there is not much (visible) life here. The top of the island has smooth rocks form the sea. It looks like the rocks were mouled by the sea. From here you have a nice view of the bay.Look for the only grass on the island and you will find the cache easily. Look for a small green waterproof cylinder. Put the cache back the way you found it (or better if it was visible).
Though it can be really quiet here, there are also moments there are muggles around. So use stealth when needed…
Happy caching!
