The Lion And The Magnetic Fish Multi-cache

The "Lion" adventures began when I came here after "The Lion and the Ladybug" (GCJMRN - archived). While researching for a replacement, I was totally surprised by a passing Peacock. That became "The Lion And The Peacock" (archived). It was replaced by "The Lion And The Spotted Fawn" (archived). Yes, I did see a Fawn here. I just saw another Mom and Spotted Fawn here while scouting for this new hide. Trying something a little different at Stage 1 this time.

Thanks are still due to Mrs. G Clooney for her original cache placement here that inspired the rest of the "series", and for her contacts that make Geocaching possible at both Stage locations. If you have visited any one, or all three, of the Previous "Lion" caches you know what to expect. Everything is in exactly the same areas, but as always in unique new locations. The cache final is a large clear plastic container with a colored lid.

Stage 1 is now just barely inside the Herb Garden. The hint should get you there if you are stuck. Take care to keep it out of sight when you tuck it back into its hiding spot.

The Cache Final is located on the local Penn State campus. The last 250 feet are an easy bushwhack. Sunday would be an excellent day to search for this cache. Do not look for it at night. Upon entering the Stage 2 coordinates into your device, if a total hike much over 1,000 feet is indicated, you did something wrong.
