The Queyrasregion is beautifull al year round. In the winter for skiing and in the summer for hiking. St. Veran is the highest, permant habitated, village of Europe and the best place to start to find the cache. In the winter it's next to the slope and in summer it's on the hiking trail. On your walk you will get amazing views of the magnificant landscape and a high chance of seeing marmots.
In wintertime it's easy accesible through different routes on ski or snowboard and it's a good place to stop, log and go. In summer you can walk from St. Veran in the direction of Bois des Amoureux. There are a few options to make a roundtrip.
The cache is small, plastic container which contains a logbook. Don't forget a pen or pencil! It is covered with rocks to project it from the influences of nature. Please keep it this way!
