Geocache Description:

This is one of two interconnected puzzles and neither cache is at the posted coords.

Welcome to a different concept in puzzles! In order to find either cache, you will need to solve two puzzles in any order. The two puzzles are in Delaware and California, hence Coast to Coast. When you solve either puzzle, the answer will give you the correct North coords for that puzzle and the correct West coords for the OTHER puzzle. Both caches have been placed in accordance with Geocaching guidelines and you must personally sign the log to claim a find. The two puzzles are:

Coast to Coast- West by lmt000
Coast to Coast- East by rehobch

Good luck and have fun with this concept.

Coast to Coast- East

The Red Herrings have been on vacation in Northern California as they just had to try out the Pacific Ocean. It is a little chilly for them but they enjoyed their time in the ocean there all the same. They really took advantage of their trip and toured a lot of areas. Should not be much of a surprise, but they also got some new puzzle ideas in California.

As the Red Herrings drove across the country, they made note of a few places that they really enjoyed and decided to share them with you:

N37 51.935 W122 18.196
N38 54.125 W76 45.308
N41 56.124 W71 17.093

They also have three words of wisdom: herrings.turtle.heron (Water's just a little warmer.)

While on the West Coast, they conspired with a California puzzler to present you with these two puzzle caches. If you can follow their trail across country, you should be able to find this cache- maybe!

Here is the map they used for their journey:

They are even helping you out by giving you some of the coords. You just need to find seven numbers, should be easy- maybe! And of course, they can still be subtle.
