Grande Chenalette is a peak in Valais and is nearby to Pointe de Drone above the Great Saint Bernard Pass. From the Hospice at the Col du Grand St. Bernard, (see WP Trailhead) you follow the hiking path in the direction of the Grande Chenalette. Until the viewpoint at 2792m this is T2 king path which is marked white-red-white. The last part below the summit is secured with cables and ladders. You don't need a via ferrata set. Be careful with the snow fields especially in spring and early summer.
From the summit you can either or descent the same way. or continue the hike to Pointe de Drone and Col de Fenêtre. From the Hospice you need about 1:20h to the summit.
