L'église St Symphorien est antérieure au XIème siècle, elle dépendait de Saint Laud d'Angers. Elle a été remaniée en 1724 puis restaurée en 1857. Plusieurs obus la frappèrent au cours des combats de août 1944 tuant l'abbé Thomas dans sa sacristie..
