Kamniti obraz Ajdovske deklice v severni steni Prisanka najlepše vidimo z razgledne točke pri waypointu (glej waypoint parking) ali z razglednega grička pri Poštarski koči na Vršiču. Vidna pa je tudi iz Erjavčeve koče.
Ajdovska deklica je kamnita podoba deklice, ki je našla svoj odmev v ljudski pripovedki.
Legenda pravi, da so Ajdovske žene Kranjskogorcem prerokovale usodo ob rojstvu in svetovale, kdaj je pravi čas za setev in žetev. Ena izmed njih je sinu lovca prerokovala, da bo ustrelil zlatoroga, ki živi v okoliških gorah. Ajdovske žene so se ob tej nedopustni prerokbi razjezile in ajdovsko deklico spremenile v skalo.

ENG: One of the most beautiful works of art that mother nature formed in Slovenia can be „found“ along the road to Vršič.
The stone face of Ajdovska deklica (Heathen Maiden) in the northern face of Prisank can be best seen from the given waypoint coordinates (see waypoint parking) or from the viewpoint at “Poštarski dom” mountain cabin at Vršič. It is also visible from the nearby Erjavec mountain cabin.
Ajdovska deklica is the rock face of a maiden that found its own special place in Slovenian folk tales.
Legend has it that the Ajdovska maidens foretold the people of Kranjska Gora their fortune at birth. They also advised the people when to sow their crops and when to harvest them. One of the maidens foretold the son of a hunter that he would kill the last Goldenhorn (Zlatorog = legendary wild, white chamois bock with golden horns; this legend is well known throughout Slovenia) which inhabited the surrounding mountains. This inadmissible prophecy angered the other heathen maidens. They got so upset that they punished the prophetess by turning her into rock.
So, can you spot the sad face of the cursed maiden in the northern face of Prisank?

Das steinerne Gesicht der Ajdovska deklica, des heidnischen Mädchens, in der Nordwand des Prisank ist am besten von den angegebenen Waypoint-Koordinaten (siehe WP parking) oder vom Aussichtshügel bei der Hütte „Poštarska koča“ aus zu entdecken. Man kann es aber auch sehr gut von der Hütte „Erjavčeva koča“ sehen.
Das heidnische Mädchen ist eine Felsengestalt, die ihren Platz in der slowenischen Volkserzählung fand.
Die Legende besagt, dass die sog. heidnischen Frauen den Bewohnern von Kranjska Gora bei Geburten das Schicksal vorhersagten und Ratschläge erteilten, wann die beste Zeit für die Saat und Ernte sei. Eine von ihnen habe dem Sohn eines Jägers prophezeit, dass er das letzte Goldhorn (Zlatorog = wilder, weißer Steinbock mit goldenen Hörnern; eine bekannte Sagengestalt aus den slowenischen Alpen), das noch in diesen Bergen lebte, erschießen würde. Die anderen heidnischen Frauen sollen über diese unzulässige Prophezeiung so sehr erzürnt gewesen sein, dass sie das Mädchen mit einem Fluch belegt und es in einen Felsen verzaubert haben.
