One of my favorite things about hiking in the Spring/Summer/Fall is enjoying the abundance of wildflowers. On hikes as a child, my Dad would always point out and name all of the ones he knew, so of course I now do the same for my children with the hopes that they will grow to love and appreciate all that is around us in the natural world as much as I do.
I thought a great way to honor my dad's memory and the love of nature he instilled in me would be to create a series dedicated to the wildflowers of New Hampshire.
This cache will bring you to the parking area for a great set of trails at the Mile Slip Town Forest in Milford. It's a great place not only to see some wildflowers but many sightings of bear, bobcat and moose have been reported. ***PLEASE REPLACE EXACTLY AS FOUND***
