August 20 is International Geocaching Day. It is a fitting occasion to honor a local cacher who is ranked #5 in the world. The 100K milestone occurred earlier this year, and the actual count now is comfortably higher.
We will have a brief informal program shortly after 5:00 PM. Otherwise, sign the log. Visit with friends Come and go as you wish.
The event should qualify for a souvenir in your profile. It was confusing last year, but, this year, International Geocaching Day 2016 is on the list of day specific souvenirs.
The location, the Spotted Cow, is best known for ice cream and has a sandwich menu as well. It is ADA accessible.
