This cache is situated in the ancient little village of Bér. Once upon a time the village was much larger, but now barely over 300 people live there. It still has a lovely old church, some old venacular peasant long houses and rows of old wine cellars on the hillside. The watermill, which was one of 5 it had in the past, became ruinous by the end of the XXth century and it needed the vision of an enterprising man to rebuild it and expand the area with the other buildings into an entertainment centre. It now has a fully restored mill, a restaurant, several long houses for accommodation, and a fitness and games room. It is normally open at weekends, but can open during the week by special arrangement.
It is easily accessible by car or public transport. The cache is a small box 15cm x 10cm x 5cm in size. Just above the mill complex there is a lovely wooded and boulder strewn valley. The cache is hidden in that valley under a rock ledge. To reach the cache you will need to cross a stream, so be careful, especially when it is raining or icy!
