Geocache Description:

It is said, “That even a blind squirrel gets an acorn once in a while”.  This is your chance.  The cache, as always, is NOT at the posted coordinates.  However, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure it out.  However, the real challenge is signing the log!

This is a dive cache!  You will need a certification, and all the necessary equipment to reach about 30-feet deep, in a lake.  There are two ways you can reach the cache site.  Either from the surface, once you have the proper coordinates, or from the bottom.  The cache is located in the Baptist Lake dive park.  The pontoon platform is usually the first stop from the beach.  If you can discern the coordinates of this location, it shouldn’t be a stretch to reach the final destination.

Think of the cache as your personal acorn. Can you do better than a Blind Squirrel? The cache can easily be found on one tank of air.  You should have sufficient remaining to continue around the park.  Enjoy yourself!

Early in my career, this saying was a catch phase every time I completed a big sale.  One of my best friends even named his boat the, “Blind Squirrel” in honor of his finally acquiring his boat.  It’s in his honor that I name this cache!
