[HR] Ovaj cache dovodi vas do uobičajenog sastajališta ljudi, prijatelja, parova, ... prije odlaska u šetnju gradom ili druženja u parku. Stoga i ne čudi da je ovdje i jedno od većih parkirališta za bicikle u Varaždinu.
"Vura" - naziv pod kojim je poznat meteorološki stup u Varaždinu stoji ovdje od 9. rujna 1911. godine kada je zaslugom tadašnjeg gradonačelnika Pere Magdića dovezen iz Beča. U to ga je vrijeme glasoviti astronom Otton Kučera proglasio za jednog od najmodernijih u ovim krajevima.
Prije tridesetak godina temeljito je obnovljen u tadašnjoj Ljevaonici i tvornici armatura, a 1995 su nabavljeni i novi mjerni uređaji iz Njemačke da zamijene dotrajalu staru garnituru.

"Vura" (colloquial for clock) - name by which is this meteorological post known stands here in Varaždin since 9th of September 1911. when it was brought from Vienna, credit to Pero Magdić - former mayor of Varaždin. Back then it was declared as the most modern one in these parts of Europe by famous astronomer Otton Kučera.
Thirty years ago it was thoroughly renovated in then existing Iron foundry and armature factory in Varaždin, and in year 1995 new measuring devices were acquired from Germany to replace the dilapidated old apparatus.
