Jane/Sheppard host a Library Settlement Partnership program that gives newcommers acess to information on housing, employment and other services. At this location Settlement staff can provide service in Spanish.
Currently in the branch schedule is a series of programs teaching children computer programming.
Immediately to the west of the library sits the Reading Sprouts Garden. It has an outdoor amphitheatre with concrete, tiered seating and electronic power outlets. It was very popular space for free programming during the Pan-Am Games in 2015.
