A)... abaixo ... transgressão.

In order to be able to register this earthcache, you must answer the following questions correctly and send the answers to my email later.
Go to the coordinates published during low tide, as this is the only way to get dry to the observation zone. In the zero point there is a formation in V and, when looking north, in the inner face of the right it is possible to see ripple marks.
1) Is the slab containing the ripples in its original position? Justify. Indicate the amplitude in degrees between the original position of the slab and the slope it currently has.
2) Are the ripples symmetrical or asymmetrical? From below, from the water zone to the top, there is a variation in the wavelength and the arrangement of ripple marks. In that upstream direction, has the transport agent velocity increased or decreased?
3) Select the only alternative that allows you to get a correct statement. The slab that contains the ripples is ... from the average level of sea water and for that reason, from the formation of the ripple marks up to the present time, a ...
A) ... below ... transgression.
B) ... below ... regression.
C) ... above ... transgression.
D) ... above ... regression.
4) Calculate the general characteristics of the observed marks (wavelength, amplitude and frequency). The task becomes easier and more rigorous when the waves closest to the ground are observed.
5) Include a photo in your log where the bottom is the south-facing walkway. It has to be taken from zero point and not from another location and, in case it is not selfie, just be a photo of your fingers / hand holding a paper with the nick. It is obviously considered a photo by geocacher / record and records without photo will not be validated.
Thanks for the visit.
