Come one, come all to the 12 Days of Cachemas kickoff event! This series has been an idea boggling in my mind for well over 2 years now, and it finally came to life! Join us as we celebrate the arrival of this new series as well as cracking a few of the mindbending puzzles involved in the series. After the event, we will all head out to complete Merry Cachemas #11: 'Twas The Night Before Cachemas!
Where? Taylor County Public Library (Large Meeting Room)

When? Thursday December 29th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm
The overall goal is, by the end of the event, all attendees walk away with the final coordinates to all 10 core Cachemas caches. The Taylor County Public Library are graciously supplying free internet connect for this event. So please bring your laptops, phones, and tablets, along with any prior work you have done, to help solve these puzzles! There will also be printouts of the cache pages available for those puzzles that require a physical copy.
At the check-in table, along with the log book will be a few helpful handouts to aid you in your journey. First, there will be a complete packet of all the Cachemas cache pages, which contain the puzzles. (Please Note: Some of the puzzles must be solved online due to the nature of the puzzle.) Second will be a playing card, which you can take along your journey to collect the different stamps from each cache. Lastly, there will be a handout of hints that will assist you in solving the puzzle. After the event, this packet will be made available by clicking on the "related web page" link at the top of this event listing. If you could please log your "will attend" so we can get an estimate of how many copies to make available. Lots of great material will be here for you to use and take home with you, so please grab them all!
BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! The event continues on into the late hours of the night as the group meets at the Pruntytown State Farm to find Merry Cachemas #11: 'Twas The Night Before Cachemas! Bring good hiking shoes and a powerful flashlight along with your wherigo capable device. Don't have one? That's ok, this is your opportunity to see what a wherigo's all about. If you do have a wherigo capable device, please download the cartridge prior to the event to ensure everything is set up when we arrive at the parking. *PLEASE NOTE* You do NOT have to join us in finding the night cache to attend this event! However, if you do plan on taking part in the night time caching adventure, please let us know in your Will Attend log. Thank You
