Geocache Description:

The Parish Church in St Just is dedicated to St Just. This is not a straightforward Church Micro, nor is it a straightforward Wherigo.

IMPORTANT! To prevent a wasted journey, be sure to download the latest version of the cartridge before attempting this Wherigo or at least test before leaving home.

Within the Church can be seen relics of the past spanning many hundreds of years.. from the Earliest establishment of the Church in this area: wall paintings: the ensign flag from the Battle of Jutland and many other interesting features. There are laminated guides which are available for you to use, also guides in French and German.

Within the church itself you will notice the lovely stained glass windows.

The organ is listed and close by you are able to see a few special features. The water themed window (Noah/Peter/Moses) is dedicated to a lighthouse keeper.
Observe the wall paintings as they are quite unusual. At the rear of the church is a flag from a ship which was in the Battle of Jutland. The bells, three of them, date from the Reformation.

D isn't actually needed for the code but as a waypoint to lead you towards the last question. Notice here how young the child was. Also, how old another named person on this memorial was when he died. Possibly the greatest age you'll find hereabouts. Life in the St Just community was often hard. If you have time, explore this and the old churchyard, and notice the tragically short life that some of the community had. Wherigo Reverse Caches were inspired by the original Reverse Geocache Puzzle Box. The Reverse Geocache Puzzle Box The cartridge for the Wherigo version was developed by-Waldmeister- and has been re-used in many different caches. The three six-digit numbers to activate the cartridge are usually given on the cache pages but we made this one so cachers have to visit the church. It is a Church Micro after all!
<:D>
To find the cache you will need to download this Wherigo cartridge to a compatible device.

This cartridge will tell you how far it is to the final location but not the direction - you will have to work that out for yourself. So far so good. In order to activate it you need to enter three 6-digit numbers and you will need to go to the headline coordinates to find what they are. Once you have entered these into the Wherigo leave the Church yard and go towards the Old Churchyard, along the footpath.

1) Search out the grave of Walter and Jane Oats. They were each AB when they died.
2) How old was John, son of Henry and Dorcas White, when he died? CB
3) Little John Trenear was D years old when he died.
4) Elizabeth Warren has two memorials. When did she die? 1E2F?

Now substitute the following letters for digits and enter into the Wherigo Cartridge when prompted.
