Geocache Description:

Not a simple P & G, and not a guard rail.

This is one of couple of caches along the North Fork of the Catawba River. It is quite beautiful and has a lot of character, and I think it is a great area to take pictures. Sometimes there is wildlife around to add a little more interest as well.

There is usually very little traffic along this road, and there is a small pull-off parking area between the two small bridges. The main stream of the river goes under the eastern bridge, but there is still a nice one under the other bridge as well, although one side is admittedly prettier than the other.

Enjoy the peaceful views while you hunt for the cache, which is a small rectangular box, camo of course, and is log-only, so BYOP.

Don’t forget to take your camera!
