Considerata la prima abitazione costruita a Costa Rei, questa villa è ormai deturpata da intemperie, scritte vandaliche e settarie. Raccoglie come un diario generazionale un po’ di tutto: dagli anni 80 ad oggi, dalla data della morte di Kurt Cobain alle vittorie calcistiche, oltre a vari insulti, frasi goliardiche e suggestioni erotiche. Non si hanno informazioni certe su chi fosse la “Contessa”. Le leggende del posto parlano di una donna del nord Italia, molto ricca, piena di amanti ma anche di dolori. Dopo aver perso il marito, decise di vivere sporadicamente nella villa insieme all’unico figlio che morì anch’esso. Alcune versioni dicono sia morto in un incidente stradale, altre che sia annegato proprio nella piscina della villa, lasciando la donna completamente sola nella grande casa. La leggenda racconta che in seguito alla sua morte, la contessa abbandonò all’improvviso la villa. Si racconta che il fantasma della donna sia ancora presente nelle stanze abbandonate. In molti giurano di averla vista o sentita piangere e di aver udito altri misteriosi suoni o musiche tra le stanze...
