DE: Auf dem Ausflugsberg hoch über dem Tal des Inns liegt einem das ganze Oberengadin zu Füssen. Der atemberaubende Blick auf die vier Seen mit dem weltberühmten St. Moritz reicht selbst über Bergketten hinweg und wird nur durch den Himmel begrenzt.
Schon früh inspirierte die herrliche Aussicht auf dem Ausflugsberg Muottas Muragl berühmte Maler und Schriftsteller. Die ehemalige Hütte des Malers Giovanni Segantini liegt deshalb nicht weit entfernt. Und ein Philosophenweg, ein sieben Kilometer langer Winterwanderweg, folgt den Spuren grosser Denker vergangener Zeiten. Im Sommer entführt der Panoramaweg über Alpen in die nahe gelegenen Täler.

EN: The entire Upper Engadine region lies at your feet when you are perched on the hiking mountain high above the Inn River Valley. The breathtaking views of the four lakes and the world-famous resort town of St. Moritz extend far beyond the mountain ranges into the distant horizon.
The magnificent view from the hiking mountain Muottas Muragl has inspired poets and painters for centuries. The hut that was once used by the painter Giovanni Segantini, for example, is nearby. And a philosophers' path, a seven-kilometer long winter hiking trail, retraces the footsteps of great thinkers of past epochs. In the summer, the Panoramic Path takes you across alpine hills and pastures into nearby valleys.

Mit diesem kleinen Multi möchte ich euch ein wenig die Gegend rund um die Talstation der Muottas Muragl Bahn zeigen.
Dein Cachemobil kannst du bei den Parkplatzkoordinaten abstellen.
Gehe zu den Ankerkoordinaten, nimm etwas zum schreiben mit und Peile 106m / 85° zu
Wegpunkt 1 bei: N 46° 30.xxx’ / E 009° 53.yyy’. Schau dir dort die 2 Tafeln an. Zähle die Parkfelder auf der unteren Tafel. Dies sei A
Kontrolle: Namnuy Svatre haq Mrura rvarf Zrafpura.
Wegpunkt 2: Gehe nun zu N 46° 30.511’ / E 009° 52.962’ Auf dem Weg dahin achte darauf wie viele
„P“-Schilder mit nur einer Zahl (Px,Py, etc.) es hat. Dies sei B

An den Koordinaten angekommen schau dich nach etwas gelbem um, was Wanderer sehr gut kennen. Wie viele Züge (nur Züge) siehst du dort drauf? Präge dir alles gut ein (Foto), vielleicht kann dir das später noch weiterhelfen. Dies sei C

Wegpunkt 3: N 46° 30.542 / E 009° 52.951 Stell dich vor das Gebäude und schau es dir an. Dort siehst du einen Balkon. Zähle ALLE dicken Pfosten des Balkongeländers. Als Balkongeländer gilt das ganze Geländer, welches von der Front aus zu sehen ist von links bis auf die rechte Gebäudeseite. Dies sei D

Nimm jetzt dein GPS wieder zur Hand und folge der Kompassnadel zu folgenden Koordinaten: N 46° 30.603’ / E 009° 53.089’ Auf dem Weg dorthin läufst du an 3 Brücken vorbei. Bei der Letzten davon zählst du die Bögen auf einer Seite. Dies sei E
Kontrolle: Rva Wnue ung ... Wnuerfmrvgra.
An den letzten Koordinaten angekommen findest du eine Bank. Setz dich drauf und mach dich an die Lösung der Finalkoordinaten. Aber VORSICHT die Bank ist nicht mehr die Jüngste und hat so Ihre Tücken.

With this small multi I want to show you the sorroundings of the Muottas Muragl valley station.
You can park your caching vehicle at the parking coordinates(P0).
Go to the anchor coordinates, take something to write with you and take a bearing of 160m / 85° to
waypoint 1 at: N 46° 30.xxx’ / E 009° 53.yyy’. Look at the two signs. Count the parkingfields on the sign below. This is A

Waypoint 2: Now go to N 46° 30.511’ / E 009° 52.962’ On the way to the next station note how many numbered „P“ signs with one number there are (Px,Py..). This is B

Arrived at the coordinates look for something yellow which hikers know very well. How many trains (only trains) do you see there? This is C. Keep the place in mind (picture), maybe this can help you later on.

Waypoint 3: N 46° 30.542’ / E 009° 52.951’ Move on to the anchor coordinates. Stand in front of the building and look at it. There you see a balcony starting from the front left side until the right side of the building. Count ALL thick posts of the balcony. This is D

Now take your GPS again and follow the compass’s needle to the following coordinates:
N 46° 30.603’ / E 009° 53.089’. On your way there you pass 3 bridges. Count the bows of one side at the last bridge.. This is E

Arrived at the last coordinates you will find a bench. Sit on it and start solving the final coordinates. But CAUTION the bench is not so young anymore and has it’s peril.
