Hillcrest library is located at 5801 Leslie Street. This library can be quite busy at times as students from the local schools visit during lunch break and after school to use the computers. An number of people also drop by after buying groceries next door.
In September 2016, Hillcrest library will host an number of programs led by current Artist in Residence Charles Hong.
There are two mulberry (or mulberry like) trees on the library property that tend to bear fruit every summer. When TorontoNovic was younger and saw that the berries were ripe, she would pick and eat them right off the tree.
