If you want to find this cache, you will have to hike from the bottom of the mountain as the container is located in Shaluo Ping, between the Jade Spring Temple and the North Peak. I would suggest that you do a 2 days trip to Mount Hua if you wanna hike as it takes around 3-5 hours to reach North Peak and 3-5 hours to complete the exploration of the remaining peaks after.
To hike from the bottom, you need a good physical condition as it is going uphill the whole way. Some blogs have a tendency to exaggerate when it comes to the danger of the path. There are no precipice and you will not walk on a plank there or at the edge of a cliff. There are only two parts that are very steep and narrow but negotiable for a teenager who pays attention to what is around him/her. See Below.
The Road:
From the tourist center, get a free shuttle bus to Yuquan Yuan (the Jade Spring Temple) and start hiking passing by: Wuli Guan (5 Li pass), Shimen (Stone Gate), Shaluo Ping (Shaluo Terrace where the cache is), Yunmen (Yun gate), Huixin rock and the steep parts: Qianchi Chuang (1000 feet precipice), Baichi Xia (100 foot valley) before reaching North Peak.
