Open Water Swim Traditional Cache

Open Water Swim is a quick cache. It is also a way to escape, when your pirate ship is under attack.  Strategy is all you need to find the cannon and get your smiley here. 

This cache is located at the Old Swimming Hole in Manteo. It is a popular place for triathletes to practice open water swimming.  

Pirates come from all around these here lands to watch the sun setting from this location. It is a fantastic sight.

You will see muggles a plenty in the summer time.

Caching during daylight hours is recommended.  

You do NOT have to go onto airport property to retrieve your booty.  

There are public restrooms, a picnic pavillion, playground and parking a plenty.

Please return all cache parts to the original location.
