Welcome to the eighth annual GeoRoc Summer Picnic! The picnic will be held August 21st, at the Magnolia Pavilion in Durand Eastman Park. Feel free to start arriving around 11:00AM.
In order to keep the planning simple and the costs low, we are asking that everyone bring a dish to pass. If someone would like to volunteer to bring hamburgers or hots, that would be greatly appreciated, sometimes we seem to run out quickly! Charcoal would be welcome as well! As items start to get listed, I will post a chart showing who is bringing what.
If you would like to put out a cache for the event, please send Tanders or Timmothy the coordinates and info so we can have sheets printed up for everyone.
There will be some raffles to help offset the cost of the pavilion. If you have something to donate, please let us know.
There are bathrooms and a playground located nearby. Parking is all around the loop near the shelter. Stay tuned for more surprises as the event date draws closer!
