This right of way to the river is in memory of two conservation officers. You can either solve this puzzle in the field or by using the information on this cache page.

More about Mooney: Conservation Officer William Mooney suffered a fatal stroke while hiking to check duck hunters near Newfound Lake. He was transported to Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover where he passed away. Officer Mooney was a WWII veteran and had served with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department for over 13 years.

Conservation Officer James Clark suffered a fatal heart attack after participating in a pheasant stocking operation in Bristol. After completing the stocking he returned to his patrol car and was leaving the area when he suffered the heart attack. He was transported to Sceva Speare Hospital, in Plymouth, where he passed away. Officer Clark had served with the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department for eight years. He was survived by his wife, two sons, and two daughters.
