Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, the City Hall branch is a hidden gem in the Toronto Public Library system.
This particular branch is located inside Toronto’s city hall building. The branch is a smaller one but well-used and features a self-check in terminal. Geocachers may also want to take a picture with the “ 3D TORONTO” sign at Nathan Phillips Square, or browse the occasional displays inside Toronto’s city hall foyer.
Art buffs may notice that the black sculpture at Nathan Phillips Square looks similar to the famous sculpture outside the Art Gallery of Ontario. Both pieces were created by English artist Henry Moore. The piece at City Hall was installed in 1966 and is called “Three Way Piece No. 2 (The Archer)”
The library is not open at all times. You will have to plan accordingly. In solving the puzzle you will know when to visit.
