You're looking for something that's hiding in plain sight. I walk past this church a few times a week and always thought of the cache there, but only just realised that it was archived a long time ago! So I thought I would resurrect it.
It's a DIY cache, no caches last forever, but if you notice a problem let me know and I'll fix it. Cheers.
Church Micro 3311…Hove - Methodist
Before the church was built the local Wesleyan community had to meet in each other's houses and other buildings. They bought the plot of land in 1883 and built a temporary iron structure. This was demolished in 1892 in view to building the permanent church building.
John Wills was chosen to design the church, which he did in 1895 and it was then built in 1896, using red bricks locally sourced from Burgess Hill.
The church was extended in 1965 and slightly altered in 1992, when a double staircase was demolished and replaced with the two storey glass tower, which is at the Portland Road side. It was grade II listed the same year.
This is now the only methodist church left in Hove, after the others were either closed or turned into churches for other denominations.

PARKING!
The parking around here is not free, but you could park outside the church quickly and you won't get a ticket, if you're quicker than 5 minutes. If you come across a parking enforcement officer called Steve tell him you're 'giro-catching' and I'm sure he'll laugh and walk on by. Not sure about the others!
