(F) En 2003 Geocaching a été introduit dans le Val-d'Abondance en plaçant 7 géocaches et l'organisation d'un concours. Depuis, plus de 100 géocaches sont disponibles dans la vallée et de nombreux géocacheurs sont actifs dans la région. Au printemps, les géocacheurs qui ont initié le géocaching ici ont rencontré l'équipe « lesmontagnards74 ». L'idée de répéter cette activité sociale de geocaching est née.
