Fletcher's Glen at Killcare is, for the most part, within Bouddi National Park, although the cache itself is just outside the park boundary. Access to the trackhead is from the elbow in Fraser Road, but is not immediately obvious. Follow the drainage ditch between the Private Driveway sign and the power pole for a few metres where you'll find the track going off to the left. The trackhead coordinates are at the entrance to the park.
From there, follow the track to the listed coordinates where there's an informative sign describing the glen. Read it carefully then answer the following question to determine the digit A:
Which of the following creatures is NOT on the list of those found in the glen?
- Lyrebird (A = 1)
- Ringtail possum (A = 2)
- Lace monitor (A = 3)
- Eastern water dragon (A = 4)
Continue following the track, which becomes more overgrown and vague, until you reach the first falls. Identify the correct waterfall from these photos to determine the digit B.
From here you're on your own as you make your way to the second falls, although I recommend following the northern side of the creek. Once again, identify the correct falls from these photos to determine the digit C.
Now the going gets tougher as you make your way up to the third falls. Either side of the creek is passable although I'd recommend veering north a bit to avoid the steeper sections. Once there, again identify the correct falls from these photos to determine the digit D.
The cache is at South 33° 31.0AB East 151° 22.1CD.
To get there you could climb up if you were Spiderman, or fly up if you were Superman, but failing that you'll need to return to your car and drive up to Wards Hill Road. A walking track runs parallel to the road a few metres in, so park at a convenient point north of GZ and follow the track right to the cache. Enjoy the views but don't go too close to the edge - the cache is well back and in a safe location.
