Geocache Description:

A nano which will bring you to one of the most beautiful squares in London (in my opinion).

Fitzrovia is almost a square chunk of London.   Its northern edge runs along the Euston Road between Great Portland Street and Euston Square tube stations.  Its southern end is roughly between Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road Stations.

The area is home to the Telecoms Tower (sadly closed to the public), cafes, bars, traditional pubs and Charlotte Street – one of the famous roads for restaurants in London.  There is a detailed write-up of the area on Wikipedia if you want to learn more.

On a more personal level, the area has been home to me – in my first year of university I lived in the LSE halls on Fitzroy Street.   Also, for the last 8 years my office has been opposite the same halls on Fitzroy Street.

And it is to Fitzroy Street and Fitzroy Square the cache will bring you.  As this is a busy area I have only been able to hide a nano.  I know they are not everyone’s cup of tea, but I hope the area and stunning square will make up for it.  See if you can celebrity spot – a number live on the square or around it.
