Le lavoir de Palmas fût érigé au XIXème siècle par la commune.
C’est un édifice avec toiture à 4 pans et 2 bassins.
Le lavoir n’est pas alimenté par la rivière de l’Aveyron mais par une source.
Jusqu’au XXème siècle, avant l’arrivée de l’eau courante, les femmes venaient laver leur linge dans ce lavoir qui servait aussi à toutes les confidences du village.
The laundry Palmas was built in the nineteenth century by the town.

The laundry is not fed by the river Aveyron but by a source.
Until the twentieth century, before the arrival of running water in the houses, the women came to wash their clothes in the laundry room, which also served to all the confidences of the village.
