Hayden Dike Minicache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Moun10Bike: Thanks for taking a look, PaneledZero. It's sad to see this one go, but given how drastically the area has changed, a replacement here would have to be dramatically different from the original. It thus makes sense to archive.

Geocache Description:

This cache was originally one in the Easter Egg series -- the purple one. That original container was stolen or plundered, however, and has been replaced at various intervals. It is currently a small clear Lock-and-Lock container. Please think small when considering items to trade, and if an item does not fit in the container, please take it with you rather than leaving it next to the cache.

This cache is hidden along Hayden Dike, a mound of earth stretched along Honeysuckle Bay at the southwestern corner of Hayden Lake. The dike helps to maintain water levels on the lake and includes a spillway that lets out water when it reaches its normally high spring levels. The location makes for a beautiful walk along the shores of the lake, and is located near Honeysuckle Beach Park.

Please rehide the cache well, as we have already had to replace this one multiple times!
