Little Bridges # 846 Bridging the Gap Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

The wiggly's: Unfortunately, due to other commitments, we are having to reduce the number of caches we own significantly as it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain them all sufficiently. Hopefully geocachers will continue to enjoy the locations we chose for our caches as after all showing people new and interesting locations is what we believe the game to be about. In some cases, we may have added obvious mental or physical challenges to reach a Tupperware box! but that just adds to the fun (or frustration) ;).

We hope you've enjoyed finding these caches as much as we did placing them, creating the cache pages and reading your logs. Maybe one day someone will place a cache in this exact spot again and we can all enjoy revisiting and finding it!

Thanks for your kind logs,
Happy caching,
The wiggly's

Geocache Description:

The Minster Way

This is a nice easy cache located on the Minster way opposite Cautley farm.

The reason we have placed this is simply because there are few little bridge caches around here (when we planned it the closest ones where in Lincolnshire but since then another cacher has helped add more here by placing the first one in the east riding) so we are quite literally bridging the gap of caches.

It shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to find, it’s a nice quick park and grab!

The cache is not placed on the bridge itself so please don’t destroy the bridge by hunting around on it.

There’s not much more to say other than take care whilst crossing the bridge as it’s very narrow and rickety.

Good luck!

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast, Damian from Winter Foxes has created and updates a list of cachers who has found 10 or more little bridges and can be found here, if you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan on stanthews@aol.com and he will give you a number for your bridge, to qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xx then name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to Damian’s list.
