Mara Triangle is western part of Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. We placed several geocaches within Mara Triangle (with permission from the management of the park, Mara Conservancy) in various places inside the park where guests are allowed to get off their vehicle. (http://maratriangle.org)
Hidden at the picnic tree located along the main road connecting Purungat Bridge gate and Oloololo gate. From Oloololo gate, the signboard to the tree will be on the right, after passing 1) ”4km to Serena Lodge" sign, “Bagdad dam” and “Egyptian goose pond”. From Purungat gate, the sign will be on the left after “3km to border” sign. There are 4 fig trees where guests can use as picnic point. Geocache is hidden in one of the tree. Watch out for leopard and beehive in the tree before you get off the vehicle.
