We want to say thank you to Chuck Walla for a decade of service to geocaching in Arkansas. Chuck Walla started reviewing caches in August 2006. Many Arkansas geocachers may have not been a part of geocaching for the total 10 years, but, except for a few trips when Chuck Walla was rafting the Colorado river in the Grand Canyon, he has been steadfast in his review of caches submitted.
Time – 11 am to 1 pm
Lunch – Approximately 12 noon provided by rklmbl
We ask that you bring your own drinks.
Prior to and after lunch, we will tell geotales and walk down memory lane with Chuck Walla.
Two requests:
1. Please post your Will Attend prior to August 10 with the number of people in your party IF YOU PLAN TO EAT.
2. Please do not clutter the event page with WILL NOT ATTEND messages. If you have questions, et al, just message us.
Both of these requests will help us with planning and food prep.
Come and enjoy this event in one of Arkansas’ beautiful state parks on top of Mt. Nebo. Mt. Nebo State Park has many amenities, including cabins, camping, swimming pool, playground equipment, hiking trails, and take your breath away views. And there are geocaches in this park too.
