(LAT) Rīgas bīskapa pils celta līdz 119.g. lībiešu koka pils vietā. Mūra pili nopostīja Livonijas kara laikā 1577.g. Ap pilskalnu un pilsdrupām plešas Lielvārdes (Lāčplēša) parks, tā veidošana uzsākta 19.gs. beigās Lielvārdes muižas barona A. Vulfa vadībā. Otrpus parkam un Rumbiņas ietekai Daugavā stāvā zemesragā atrodas Dievkalna pilskalns (Cepures kalns). Senlietu atradumi liecina, ka te dzīvojušas baltu ciltis un 1. g.t. pr. Kr. Līdz 6. – 7. gs. Lielvārdes parks Daugavas krastā beidzas ar stāvu krauju, kur atsedzas tagadējai Daugavai iespaidīgi dolomīta atsegumi. Te vērts nokāpt lejā un iedomāties, kāds izskatījies Lielvārdes pilskalns pirms vairāk nekā pirms septiņiem gadsimtiem. (ENG) The Bishop's Palace in Riga brought to 119 .g. It's worth it to go downstairs and see what looked Lielvārdes hillfort before more than seven centuries.
